time to earn the cheese to make the donuts

I so want to be posting pictures and telling all about the Kenmore. Instead, I'm at the library, where Natalie and I have agreed to meet on my off days, polishing my curriculum vitae and cover letter in preparation for upcoming job applications. I have to keep reminding myself that at the end of this (tedious, nerve jangling) process lies a new job. Which means a new place to live. Which means room to spread out all my groovy stuff.

Must. Keep. Working.

You can't see that I am surrounded by the senior citizenry, a group quite fond of this back room where we are sitting. They are also fond of putting their feet up on the empty chairs at our table, regardless of how unsexy it makes us all feel.

It wasn't the feet. It was a combo musty mothball/formaldehyde scent. Not good. Not good.

Ahhh sappmama, this one is an easy-to-do activity......just pull away the chairs! When one pair of feet hit the ground, word(s) will fly around that you find it annoying behaviour and they will desist...LOL..and I bet they will stop....
Did I tell you about this woman I ONCE KNEW, who came to my house and placed her feet on my coffee table!!!!My entire being shuddered! That was a very short lived acquaintance.

Wishing you tons of luck with your job search and I hope the state of your economy has no effect on your field....if all else fails, come to Europe to teach ESL.
