memory lane

I'm with you guys, Oh happy day! I think we're all still pinching ourselves, though.

I'm so having campaign withdrawals. Wouldn't you love to relive Tuesday night?

Best we can do is savor the wonderful photographs that came out of the campaign. Here's one of my favorites, sassy Sasha.

Have you seen the Obama flickr account? There's some great shots of the family in the hotel room prior to his speech.

I know! Well check me out. On Wed when we got home. I put CNN on again bc I knew they'd be showing the speech again. And this time I was ready. I got my remote control, placed each girl in from of the tv and got my camera. So now I have pics of them with Obama in the background! Oh and i'ma be real ready on 1/20/09. I'm gonna put them in gowns! LoL
Seriously though the Obama girls totally remind me of mine. The pretty and sensibe older child and the fun and cheeky younger one.

Elbee, that is exactly what I was thinking. It is usually the case in most families though. The reserved older child and the younger rebel.
BTW, your girls are GORGEOUS!

I love this little girl. Whenever she comes on stage, she waves with a huge smile on her face. I'd expect her to be shy with all those people, but she's fearless.

I am keeping all those good feelings inside my heart which is still glowing and beaming and beating with hope for the future. It is my touchstone and at the ready for the mountain we are about to climb.
